Prior to joining Five Prime Advisors, Mr. Detroyer was Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Allendale Pharmaceuticals, Inc. In 1998, Allendale purchased from American Home Products (now Wyeth Pharmaceuticals) its consumer over-the-counter contraceptives business. In 2007, Allendale merged with Synova Healthcare.

Mr. Detroyer provides our clients expert advice with respect to navigating the process of obtaining FDA 510(k) approval and GMP compliance certification, as well as in bringing an OTC medical device to market. Mr. Detroyer is member of BrainTrust™ at RetailWire and is considered a leading voice nationally in entrepreneurial and venture-stage marketing strategy.

Mr. Detroyer holds an AB in Business and Industrial Management from The Johns Hopkins University and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Columbia Business School. He is an Adjunct Professor, International Business Management, at the European School of Economics.
