Robert S. King
Managing Director

Mr. King has spent his career providing strategic advice to U.S. and European corporations and financial buyers. He has held senior positions at several U.S. and European investment banks. Prior to founding Five Prime Advisors, Mr. King was a Managing Director at the Maxim Group in New York where he led its healthcare industry group and M&A practice. Since 1990, he has led or been involved in over 90 transactions, advisory assignments, and investments. Mr. King focuses on clients and principal investment in the medical technology industry.

Mr. King completed Ph.D. coursework in International Economics at the University of California. He holds an M.A. in Economics from the University of San Francisco, where he was subsequently a lecturer in Economics, Finance and Statistics, a B.A. in Biology from the University of California where he was a U.C. Regents Research Fellowship Award recipient, and a B.A. in Spanish from Creighton University, where he was a Jesuit Humanities Scholar. After high school, Mr. King spent several years as a member of the Society of Jesus (the "Jesuits").

Mr. King is a member of the board of directors of Atlas Spine, Inc. and Omega Solutions, LLC. He is a member of the Alliance for Science and Technology Development, an advisory committee at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He is also a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts and the CFA Institute.
