Mr. King is a member of The Economic Club of New York and the Alliance for Science and Technology Development at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of Applied Cardiac Systems, Inc., a cardiac diagnostics and therapeutics company, and FLOHE CRA S.A., a Brazilian electric arc furnace equipment manufacturer.  Mr. King is a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of ServeHAITI, an NGO providing medical care, educational support and microfinance resources in Southeast Haiti.

Mr. King completed PhD coursework in International Economics at the University of California.  He holds an MA in Economics from the University of San Francisco, where he was subsequently a lecturer in Economics, Finance and Statistics, a BA in Biology from the University of California, where he was a Regents of the University of California Research Fellowship recipient, and a BA in Spanish from Creighton University, where he was a Jesuit Humanities Scholar.  He is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute.  After high school, Mr. King spent several years as a member of the Society of Jesus (the “Jesuits”).
